A little over a month ago I was having a particularly bad time, and I knew I needed to remove myself so I could actually think and breathe and clear my mind, so I did. I booked tickets to New Zealand and here I am. And I am so incredibly happy that I did.

This is the first time in as far as I can remember where I have just been able to slow down and breathe it all in and feel present. Honestly I feel like New Zealand is the best place to go if you just need to think – I love this place.

This has hands down the best trip I have ever been on in my life, every aspect is just perfect. No that’s a lie, it’s very cold.

I hope there is a way that I can harness that feeling of you know my mind being so filled with beauty and wonder that I can’t feel anything negative. Hopefully I can harness that and take it home with me.

That’s kind of the goal to figure it out. I think I can do it. I think I can do anything. I think I’m invincible. I think I can jump of this mountain and land on my feet, no damage, oh okay.

I came to New Zealand because I needed to think. I needed to change my environment and I needed to be somewhere where I could reflect and work on myself. I feel like I’ve done that, I feel pretty good about where I am. This last month has been beyond incredible, and not just seeing beautiful things and experiencing new things but actually having the time to, to be by myself and reflect, and gain clarity and peace on things that were really weighing heavily on me before I got here.

Right now all I’m feeling is an overwhelming gratitude for my life, I just feel so grateful and I’m so so happy that I was able to come here.
