Southwest Australia had always been on our bucket list, mainly because of the beautiful beaches. And of course, the best way to explore Australia is with a motorhome! We really love the freedom, adventure, and spending the night in nature while travelling with a motorhome. So, my boyfriend and I set off on an unforgettable journey, ready to take in everything this stunning region had to offer.

We had seen so much about Southwest Australia on social media and always thought it looked incredibly beautiful. And we were certainly not disappointed! What a breathtaking area. When you’re really there yourself, you experience it so much more intensely. The tranquillity, the impressive nature, and the expansive beaches were beyond amazing. Thinking back on our trip, the moments we spent the night in the middle of nature, tucked away in a National Park, are what we remember most.

Every day brought a new highlight, but if we had to pick a favourite, the area around Albany and Denmark really stood out. We spent an evening at the free campsite at Betty’s Beach, where we had a picnic on the sand at the end of the afternoon. There was no one there at all, just the two of us on a beautiful sandy beach.

Traveling with a motorhome has so many advantages. We love being so close to nature. The peace and quiet when you spend the night at a small-scale campsite in the middle of nature is so nice. We also enjoyed the beautiful birds and other types of animals! It's kind of a back to basic feeling but with the luxury of the Polaris 2! We felt like ourselves again, happy and peaceful. It's wonderful to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and just enjoy all the beauty that the world has to offer!

We look back on this trip with such a warm feeling. Making memories together is the best thing there is!
